Torque computer

Guess you have been looking at the torque computer that is fitted to the Gazelle. This is actualy a very clever design that is totaly reliable and easy to use. It would not be impossible to make it fully automatic but why would you want to?. This design has been proven to work very well over hundreds of thousands of flying hours from all environments from the cold of Norway to the heat of the Gulf to the humidity of Belize. There is a saying that "if it aint broke then dont try to fix it" and this is probably the best case here. you will find that some marks of Gazelle dont even has this device fitted or even a torque meter with the pilot monitoring his AUM and T4 and plotting these figures on a graph.
