If you are planning a trip to Cranebank I wholeheartedly recommend the Jurys Inn Hotel.
It is about 3 Minutes walk from Hatton Cross Tube station and about 5 Mins walk from Cranebank.
The rooms are bigger, cleaner, brighter and much better appointed than the Ibis, they were even flexible on the rate.
Being so close renders a car unecessary, indeed they may charge you for parking it as many hotels near LHR do.
Just up the road from Cranebank is a pub called the Jolly Wagonners, yes really! a good place to meet up for commiserations, a well earned beer and to see who gets that call at 6.00 pm!
