UK helicopter crashes in Bosnia
Three crew members escaped with minor injuries when a Royal Navy helicopter crashed in Bosnia.
A Ministry of Defence spokesman said the men had had a "miraculous escape", after making an emergency landing near Sarajevo on Monday.
The MoD said an investigation was under way, but there was "no indication" of enemy action.
There is speculation that the helicopter, based at Yeovilton, Somerset, may have hit power lines.
The three men onboard were taken to Sarajevo for medical treatment.
Peacekeeping force
A British military spokesman in Bosnia, Lieutenant Commander Chris Percival, said the crew were on a routine training mission.
They had all managed to walk away from the accident.
They were in Bosnia as part of a force of international peacekeepers, the EU-led mission Eufor, which took over duties from Nato last year.
Around 1,000 British personnel are currently serving in Bosnia as part of the 7,000-strong force.
Eufor spokeswoman Lt Col Bridget Rose said the crash site was dangerous due to fallen power lines and poor weather.
The BBC's Nick Hawton said Bosnia had suffered from extremely bad weather over recent days with heavy snow, low cloud and poor visibility.
