You raise an interesting point, Hudson.
Since the blocking valves on the Hyd engine driven pumps are
powered to close, this means that should the APU fail, the A system would be suddenly pressurized (the engine is turning at that stage)....

Eventually, the only really safe way to push back is with the engines shut down!
You stop, then you start up!!!
