Andrewman. Fantastic photos and thank you so much for putting them on Pprune. The prone Meteor picture reminded me of the time I was undergoing an Avro 748 type rating at Woodford in 1966 prior to ferrying the VIP version back to Australia for the RAAF. My instructor on the 748 was test pilot Eric Franklin who I believe did some of the original test flying on the prone Meteor.
Eric was a fine instructor. Other test pilots at Woodford at the time was Jimmy Harrison, Bill Else and Tony Blackman.
