We at Kimetsan Aerospace and Defence Coatings Ltd, a Scottish company, can provide a waterborne 2 pack D45-AMS MO (primer) and D45-AMS (top coat) FOB Ankara (where the R&D & manufacturing is carried out) for US$68.75/litre.

Recommended total dry film, (primer and top coat) 60 microns (2.5mil). Coating coverage at 20sq/m per litre at 25.4 microns (1mil)

If your 212 is for corporate work, suggest you use D45-AMS BJ at up to 160 microns dry film, but this is purely for aesthetic reasons,
and would not be recommended for commercial aircraft as it limits available payload.

The advantages:

High (95% transfer efficiency based on 2psi spray pressure)

No Toxic chemicals, No isocyanates in Component 'B', No chromates in the primer. and low VOCs - less than 120g/l - even for the top coat.

Virually indistructable, unlike high solid coatings that chip, crack and generally no longer protect the substrate that conventional coatings used to do. And because it is not packed with extenders to lower the VOCs, as with HS coatings, it is light weight.

Proven to perform on hundreds of F-16 radomes over the past 6 years and now being evaluated by a number US aerospace organisations while the material already has a number of NATO NSNs.

Requires very little maintainance as it is anti static and hyrophilic.
