She's Capt on B737-300, ten years FO with KQ. Newspaper did their research thoroughly as always! There are 2 female 767 f/o's, no Capts. Thought the flight engineer was female too, but may be completely wrong on that. Flight engineers on the 73? Fuelling and 'clearing' snags to get the A/C back to NBO if needed!

Simba, as spydee says things getting much easier with KCAA. Though I think a work permit ( ie a job..catch 22) still a requirement. They've got investigators working on the $$$ for ratings issue. Apparently engineers had it worse than us with those refusing to pay waiting a year plus for results....

ATPL conv requirements as mentioned, though I think a FAA radio license can be converted. Get EVERYTHING stamped and photocopy eveything you can think of!
PS Rumour is KQ might take rated contract crew....... rumour.
