Impounded Aircraft
Just to throw a spanner in the works:
1. The Aeroclub is still technically trading.
2. The only reason it is not flying now is because its aircraft are either impounded or stripped for maintenance.
So:
Did any benevolent person think of just paying off the landing fee debts of circa £41,000.00 and getting the place flying again? Come to think of it, it might have been possible to secure that amount as a charge against the aircraft. That would minimise the risk if it all went wrong.
