I have no idea how people have been identified, nor do I know much or particularly care about IP addresses however since this thread seems to be generated to a large extent by Noiseabatement and Topjet, and since the allegation is that they are one and the same person, (which was basically admitted by either Topjet or Noise can't remember which) I would have thought that this should be a matter of "public interest", particularly when those two usernames appear to have been conducting a dialogue between themselves.
It poses a valid query over the reliability of posts under those names on this topic.
