From the crews point of view 4 On / 4 Off would seem to be optimum.
Presumably this outfit recognises a problem in recruiting experienced crews for a Cardiff operation. The only way they might attract some crews for a new charter operation is by offering substantially above the market.
Two big questions:
First, is the 4 On / 4 Off be specified in the contract? If not then it may well just be a recruiting play. It would be most unlike a charter airline to let crews go home for four days in peak season if it meant cancelling a flight . . .
Second. The salaries quotes re £100,000 for a Captain and £50,000 for a First Officer.
Er, yes. Does this represent the whole package or is it a flat rate and you sort allowances, LOL and pension out yourself?
