airmen - you will find that there are already a number of Swiss pilots working here in the UK and some of them for EZY - I flew with an excellent one the other night. What the European pilots want is the ability to work in Switzerland on the same terms. I am not aware of any limitations on Swiss pilots working in Europe and I hope that none will be placed on European pilots working there.
EZS are effectively operating as another company entirely from EZS. From my perspective I see unnecessary and restrictive employment practices in place there that are not operating at EZY. This is a great opportunity to address those problems and I hope EZY management do not shy away from the need to sort the situation out. We are not in the business of shoring up the rights of Swiss pilots against those of the other European pilots.
easyJet have a selection system and if you are successful against all the other applicants you will be offered a job. Rightly or wrongly you should find that your nationality will form no part of that selection procedure. I wish you every success and you will find easyJet a great place to work if you come and join us.
