Same Army, just a later version. Maybe 60 kts is high, but below that no pilot was able to maintain control, IIRC. I can't find the study now, but another Army study on spatial disorientation is
here . This is much more recent, and not the same type study, but it does show the risk of night flight, even with NVGs.
