Question Payload / traffic load

Are 'payload' and 'traffic load' (with respect to the JAR definition) the same thing? I've seen references to both in the same document and wondered why, if they are indeed the same, the occurences were not standardised on one or the other.

If not, what is the difference? I recollect hearing the term 'non-revenue load' as well once (although I cannot remember in what context) as being cargo carried that doesn't actually earn the company money. I assumed this could include spare parts or something similar. Payload + non-revenue load = traffic load perhaps?

Finally, when tanking fuel for a return sector, does the weight of this fuel get included in the fuel figures or is it part of the disposable load?

There's a few newbie questions for a fun-packed Friday evening...
