OK here goes, on the 18th Jan one G******** T*****( anyone know him ? never heard of him myself) filed for a liquidation "application" against Rossair in the high court, the learned master of the court has set the hearing date for the 1st of Feb.
Note, this does not mean that the company is to go into liquidation merely a court HEARING to asses weather it should or shouldnt be liquidated.
Lets remember that Rossiar has been in this situation 3 times in the past 12 months and with the banks protecting them, appears to be remarkably adept at getting through these sort of things successfully. so far.
Naturally the senior (mis)management of this great company are still not saying anything to the staff despite all the rumors and obvious signs that something is seriously afoot, apart from a very short staff memo from the ceo to tell everyone to basically be quiet because management are working on the problem.
Clearly people who are able to fly and maintain company aircraft worth millions of dollars all over the world, are not considered by senior management to be emotionally inept enough, or intelligent enough to handle any information regarding the direction (or lack thereof) of the company.
