In my current outfit it is mainly day work. However things do change come the summer months. Night charters being one of them. Not my favourite shift but certainly better than a 4 sector early.

One looked at the roster and saw a night Palma. No worries until on further inspection you see that you have to sit in Palma for 5 hours and try to sleep on a/c. That was a little too much for me.
I definitely don't mind working through the night, but not with a turn around like that only to be rudely woken up by dispatcher.
So back to blighty in the morning. Back at the airport again that night to do it all over again.


I take it that flights with Monarch won't be like that. Time will only tell how I cope with night Tenerifes and Larnaca.
