Please take a reality check. If the staff are so committed why do they stare into space rather than serve customers?
Why are they incapable of good service even on a quiet day?
Why do they not even have the decency to acknowledge you are there whilst they swan around behind the bar basically doing sod all?
Where are their manners?
Please get real and try obtaining some of the attitude of dy before it is too late and you have no job and we have no airfield restaurant.
Not often I get annoyed at a posting on a forum but please...... are you running a restaurant or not? If you are then run it and work as hard as you have to in order to make it a success.
