I e-mailed them ref this latest advert. At the moment, they are only interested in ATCO's with NZ or Aus citizenship or right of abode. Exactly how many there are out there who are not already working Downunda or Godzone, I don't know. Anyway, they'll send you an e-form to fill in and promise to keep it on file.
Basically, as far as I can make out, it will entail at least a couple of years at a procedural-only station before the option to moe to a radar unit. Interestingly, though, I don't think the Kiwi's have any regular military controllers - I believe their all civvy in a reservist role.
