Buy the cheap-ish weekly magazine 'Computer Mart'. It's mostly ads for for PC & component sales mobs. There's always a bunch of them in there who focus on 2nd hand/recon laptops.
I think the magazine is also online.
Correction! The magazine is 'MicroMart'. Been a year or so since I was last in the UK & saw the magazine...
