The day to midnight quick change is only a recent arrival here. There was apparantly a vote (don't remember it, so it was probably before I got here) to see if people would be willing to start their cycle with an early (ie midnight) and they voted no. So now we can't start a cycle before 0530, hence the quick change. I wouldn't mind a whole cycle of mids. I wouldn't do any earlies at all then!
I was talking with our union guy today and it may well get looked at again soon. The thought of doing them is worse than the actual event in my experience, and I hate getting up early!
Just see what the next contract brings Jerricho! Just don't hold your breath.
