Millibars
Hi guys can anyone answer a quickie for me?
I remember learning at CPL school not to say the word "millibars" if the QNH was 1000 or greater. I operate out of LHR and often hear "millibars" used whatever the QNH. I know that using it all the time is safe,to guard against millibars/inches confusion, but I hear this so often that I wondered if anything had changed since I last read MATS part 1 in a previous life. Yes, trivial I know!
