Well $ 2.400,- is not bad as a salary but with the high costs of training in europe (Way higher than $ 100,000.- or 150.000,-) and the loss of the dollar value over 25% makes the salary pretty low for a European.
$ 2,400.- = € 1,600.- keep in mind a garbage collector in Western Europe will make about € 1,500.- without any training costs. Hopefully dollar will start rising again.
