Will your friend take the position with Monarch? Why would he want to leave Easy with all of its growth? Sounds like FO pay at Monarch for the next 10 years is pittiful (up to 45K with no sector pay)...
I suppose getting cross-qualified on the A330 and flying to some interesting resort destinations could partially make up for the cr@p pay...
