Paulo, they were probably too busy, handling the evnt professionally to do the last rites thing, I'm not sure the Capt or F/o are legally able to apply the last rites, and I can't recall if the religion checklist covers multi-denomination crews. After all could be an interesting problem to resolve if the crew were of different religions, who do you do first?, alphabetically by religion?, and what happens to the poor soul who they might not be able to do before the end?.
