wow, this could be an lenghty answer, but iŽll try to keep it short.

Its all dependant on weight ofcourse. I know nada about 737 Classic, but approach speeds for -800 flaps 40 is in the range between 130-150 kts and attitude just above zero. Thrustsetting around 60ish % should do the job.

On a Flap 30 approaches a pitch of 2-2.5 degrees should do the job, and thrust just below 60%.

Levelflight require u to fly a few degrees nose up dependand on configuration.

Basically scan scan scan scan scan during your simride, its not hard if you scan. Just be aware of the pitch - thrust connection on the 737.

Single engine takeoffs calls for a lot off rudder, as for any airplane, a bit slower rotation than normal and you should be airborne before you can say "carlsberg".
