I think that the Mail on Sunday has an interesting article by Lt Col (Retd) Collins about this subject. However, as I have not seen both sides of the stories surrounding the 1 Parachute Jump School and HMS Somerset or the Lt Col Stibbe, then I will naturally base all of my opinion on what the rest of the country does....and take it from the media.
However, if subsequently found innocent I don't believe that the press will be so interested.....as Lt Col (Retd) Collins found out. Whatever the outcomes, thankfully to the media they dont have a hope in hells chance of recovering their careers, even if admonished/not guilty.
The best bet is just to keep very very quiet, let the world go by without making any decisions that might upset anybody and forget reading all of that Military History academia and concentrate on the European Human Rights and Political Correctness etc.
