Probably not the FT job news you wanted to hear but the Bombardier Flight Test Center in Wichita has just announced that 51 positions will be axed. Understand the majority are on the shop floor i.e. mechanics & technicians. The
Wichita Eagle has the story in their Tuesday edition and it's on all the TV stations.
Luckily Cessna has just opened the "largest GA Service Center in the world" with a long list of vacancies so hopefully things won't be too bad. Guess it's one of the advantages of living in the Air Capital.
