If you are so genuinely concerned about this, why not talk to someone who was on the ground at the shoot and ask them what safety measures were put in place. Read the post above from Buster. Clearly there is something which was put in place to mitigate the risks of Richard and the lovelies on the wing. The camera angle obviously chosen to capture th subject without the superflous stuff in the background.
Jeez mate, I hope you don't believe everything you see on television also.
