That sort of weight may be achievable by a B3 Squirrel, it's not what we'd call "heavy". IIRC the B3 will pull about 1300kg, same as a BK117.
I'd certainly put the work into an operator's pocket before referring on to the Mil, much as we all love them (that's the owner/operator in me
).
