I'd be very happy about that, and that way PPrune could also become one of the more usual "hangouts" for simmers ... By adhering to forum rules and only posting flight simming related stuff at the new forum, I'm sure everyone would be happy
You'll have to appeal to Danny or Rob for that, but I rather suspect that you'll be disappointed. PPRuNe can't be all things to all people, and while I can understand the attraction of PPRuNe for those interested in flight simulators, there are plenty of other places online for that sort of thing.
As for your original post, I've been busy for a couple of days and don't know if it was posted here or moved here, but if I'd have caught it earlier I'd have moved it. We're really here to help out when people have trouble, and while we wander sometimes, flight sims aren't really within the scope of this forum - especially when it's a long list of questions
