I just took delivery of a 1:18 scale model of an USAF H-60 complete with external; fuel tanks. The model is completely detailed. It took me longer to get it out of the box than it did to assemble the model. It is sitting next to the 1:18 scale HUEY and the Super Cobra. I had never seen the real helicopters together and I was amazed at the size difference between the HUEY and the Cobra relative to the H-60. The H-60 just fits on the shelf with not too much space to spare.
I have contracted for a 1:18 scale HO3-S1G scratch built from basswood and the cockpit interior is fully detailed. That one will take over a year to build.
