Very good post - pretty much how I see things from near the top of BA's lst.
One small correction. We now work a bit harder than in the past on the 777 fleet. Here's my Dec roster:-
LGW-DFW-LGW
LGW-ANU-UVF-ANU-LGW
LHR-YUL-LHR
LHR-RUH-KWI-LHR
LGW-BGI-LGW
As you can see 13 sectors of which I will only be taking 6 thus leaving 7 for my colleagues to hone their skills on. I am not alone in giving the co-pilots as many sectors as poss, got enough myself and they will be in command one day......
