YVR-SYD starts in December with the 340-300 and will be in addition to the 767-300 that does the same route everyday but stops in HNL both ways.
The talk at AC is indeed of more 340-500 in the near future to do routes YYZ--PEK/SEL/PVG and YVR-----SIN/MNL/JAK
The company is also talking about Teheran and Karachi wich seems far fetched to me but who knows?
