It is not unusual in the express market to be
aiming for 98% on time performance, there's much more to go wrong out there than the on time uplift/despatch of the aircraft - although this will screw up 100% of the shipments if missed
I'm sure this screw up is a nightmare for the person involved, always is, price of JIT processes, have to remember unlikely nobody did it deliberately.
