I'm also in the market at the minute looking for digital camera stepping up from mx IXUS400.
I'm tempted by the SI 1S, but also have a voice in my heading shouting 300D 300D!
I found lastnight online 300D kit with the 18-55mm lens for sale for £642, but then £100 cashback (that makes it £542 I think
) but then there I have to go and buy a decent lens, preferably 300mm
I'm thinking of sticking with Canon, hence 300D or SI 1S and no mention or others such as Minolta or Nikon.
I just dont know, I like that idea of the equivalent of 380mm zoom with the S1 IS, but the quality and flexibility of an SLR, just not the price lol
