J.P.. .. .For your PPL > CPL, it's really important to get an experianced Instructor, even someone who has some experiance outside of Instructing.. .. .Check out all the schools at PF (I assume you are AD based). Best of all, ask around - take your time and grab an organisation & Instructor that is best for you. . .. .Once you have found the right place, insist on staying with the one Instructor. A lot of organisations may try and schedule you with different Instructors for each lesson.. .. .You get what you pay for. It may be better to spend a few more dollars and get the job done right the first time.. .. .Think about aircraft selection as well. Most fresh CPL's find themselves in a C182/206/210 for their first job. Therefore a school that uses TB10's or PA28R's for example may not be the right choice. Chasing your first job with 30-50 hours C182 time already logged can make a difference!
