I'm just about to renew mine next month, however, being here in USA makes it quite easy! I know someone who used the Jepperson video course a couple of years back. Seemed to be quite good. Make sure the tapes are PAL (or SECAM depending where you live)format though. You might be able to renew through the FAA if you have at least 5 signoffs within the last 24 months with at least a 80% first time pass rate. There used to be an FAA office at Gatwick.
