This Nr overlimit sometimes occurs when you fly over or near very strong radiotransmitters.
Try and think where you flew the time that you had an overlimit and next time you fly the same route keep an eye on the Nr/Nf gauge and you will notice that it will respond erratically without the actual Nr changing physically.
