You are wrong and a quick check of "factual" information as suggested by Bodum confirms this below. Maybe they cant retain the position on a permanent basis as stated by Bodum but then again why not if Cabin Crew UK can do it why not Addeco Bangkok?

We have already been advised that the company has commenced “contingency” upgrade training of some of the BKK based crew in CSM duties. When asked why the BKK based crew and not Australian based crew are being trained the answer was “it's the way the company is planning to handle sick leave and unexpected situations”. The Auckland based crew however, have not been offered this training.
