Service and Sanity
I think many crew(including myself) have become robots,doing the service by numbers to save their sanity from the ridiculous procedures.Whilst the service I offer is good,it is no longer excellent.The time constraints(caused by lack of manpower and the convoluted meal services) and the lack of resources(as mentioned above)just don`t allow for superior quality of hospitality.I apologize or say no we don`t have it more often now than at any other time in my 17 years of flying.I really do feel sorry for the passengers.
The new LHR Base is going to take at least 12 months(if not more)to come up to speed.A general lack of experience is going to cause havoc.The passengers get screwed again.
