I have had chronic sinusitis combined with an inner ear infection for about 5 weeks or so now
I was first put on antibiotics and a steroid nasal spray. I guess this was to target the sinus problem assuming the ear infection would resolve itself?
After that course of treatment not working I saw an ENT and got some stronger antibiotics (Ciprofloxacin) and they seem to be working a bit better. I'm still not 100% but am improving day by day.
I couldn't imagine driving let alone flying in this state. Things involving ears and sinuses can be a whole let more debhilitating than one would think!
My question is, when it comes to getting my class 1 medical (currently a class 2), assuming I am in good health at the time, will this bout of illness on my record affect my ability to gain the certificate? (It will probably be another 4 months before I am ready to go for it)
