Unfortunately the Loganair hangar has been identified as the last remaining building of it's type. Therefore Scottish National Heritage have slapped a preservation order on it, so they can't knock it down. However there are plans to move the BA hangar and extend the terminal there. Also the BAA own the football pitches by the Cart behind the long stay car park, and this is a another site for expansion.
