There are (allegedly) 22 nationalities working for KA as pilots at the moment. Quite a few have american experience but none to my knowledge from the good ol' USA. Doesn't mean they wouldn't take you though! From what I hear knowing someone on the inside is not much benefit really.
Just send in the app. and I'm sure they'll look at it. Rumour mill has it that they're looking at where to base guys for the impending -400s. Obviously the US must be under consideration.
