B737 NG manual gear extension access door microswitch?
The B737NG manual extension system for the landing gear has a limit switch in the manual extension access door. An instructor once told me it was important to check that this door was completely closed during preflight inspection. He also explained why, but I can’t remember what system problem this switch could cause if not closed. Can anyone explain please?
