I have a friend working for Addecco based in Auckland flying QF Long Haul. He has been advised that he will now be employed by Jet Connect the NZ wholly owned subsidiary of Qantas. He was also advised this would improve working conditions, staff travel and promotion to on-board management positions.

www.faaa.net which states Thai based crew are being trained for CSM it looks like this will also be happening out of Auckland in the near future, meaning once again less opportunity for permanent Australian based crew to apply for upgrades.
