Well, regarding the Cougar...it did have a minor prop strike but in the interest of safety it was decided to have the engine shock tested. It will be back shortly.
There are 3 Cessna 310 aircraft all of which are used for charter operations as well as training. These are hard worked operational aircraft and yes they do develop faults occasionally.
Yes, the 310 does do the Radio Clyde Flying eye and ex PFC students have been known to be employed for this.
There is a fourth which will be specifically allocated for training next year.
