LSofS is calculated using the following formula:

38.94 X Sqrt of temp in kelvin.

Eg. At ISA 38.94 x sqrt of +288

= 38.94 x 16.97

=660.8 Kts

Therefore the higher you go the colder is gets, hence the LSoS decreases.
