Basically the format is there are 16 sections or modules, each of which is split into three parts. First part is a fairly straight forward 10 question multi choice so you can identify your weak areas. Then you download a study module, study it and then do the real Multi choice. If succesful you are allowed to download the next module.

None of it is particularly difficult, and some of it quite interesting, sometimes fairly basic stuff that you haven't considered before ! The only draw back is the amount of paper if you actually want to print off the study parts.

If your knowledge is fairly current you can get through 3 or 4 modules an evening.

Oh and as someone else said earlier, there aren't that many Notary Publics around this country but they are there.
