Rumour had it that Thomsonfly had done a lease deal last week with one of the major lessors for six ex-Lufthansa 737-300s to be delivered next year. The suggestion was that these were going to be 737-500 replacements, but it may be that they are going to run both in tandem.
There were suggestions that two -800s would be drafted back in from Scandinavia to operate the based TeesSide and Finningley programmes next year. Wait to see if the Scandinavians kick off about losing their small aircraft......
