Where do you get the air ranks retiring on full pay? Clearly not from the AFPS rates of retired pay book that I read. Air Ranks 2* plus retire on a shade under half basic pay for the mid band pay rate for their rank. 1* rate is the same at just under half pay but is based on total years of service from age 21 rather than the pay rate they are actually on.
