Thanks for your reply Hotdog. I also know a bit about ESF schools as my family was there for about 27 years and I went to one of the primary schools - but I am sure things have changed...

I think that the original question was more concerning specifics about DBIS. An example of one the differences might be class numbers - DBIS have 2 fulltime teachers (one is an 'assistant') per class of 25 kids. Don't know about the other schools.

I believe that some of the secondary school kids travel from DB to Island or West Island schools also. How is this working out? Are the kids coping, how long is the trip, is it expensive, are they good schools?

What are some of the other primary school options from DB and how do they get there?

If anyone has the time I (and I'm sure others) would appreciate any feedback.
